Required Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law with bar admission in the US – JD required
  • Minimum 4 years of experience counseling clients in US regulatory law
  • Demonstrated experience providing regulatory advocacy or use of negotiation skills with governmental regulatory bodies
  • Experience in negotiating and advising on contracts, letters, statements, and other documents related to operational matters in said practice areas
  • Must be current in, provide proactive guidance and maintain knowledge of new regulatory initiatives/projects and deliver appropriate legal analyses
  • Management of external counsel investments in alignment with business priorities and LCDP financial forecasts
  • Skilled in drafting appropriate regulatory submissions and statements
  • Ability to travel 15-25%: some domestic and occasional international travel required

  

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience in managing employment matters is a plus
  • Familiarity with Fluoromaterial chemistry and emerging related State and Federal laws and regulations
  • Product stewardship or sustainability experience
     

  

This position requires access to export-controlled areas and information. Candidates must be "U.S. persons" as that term is defined in 8 USC §1324b(a)(3).
