Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience operating and maintaining complex equipment
  • Attentiveness to detail, good documentation and record keeping skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Identify, conceptualize, and solve problems
  • Adapt to changes in production schedule and shift to other manufacturing areas on short notice
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to follow and advocate safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and alternate between shifts to meet business needs, sometimes with short notice
  • Ability to perform basic math and computer transactions with ability to learn more advanced computer applications
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds several times over an 8-hour period, stand for most of the shift, and climb steps as needed, while wearing a headset

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior area leader experience
  • PTFE manipulation and/or ePTFE coating or lamination experience
  • Experience operating powered industrial vehicles (fork trucks, pallet jacks, etc.)

   

This role requires pre-hire medical clearance by Gore which may include testing to assess visual acuity and/or the ability to wear specific safety equipment as required during the performance of the role.

 

This position requires access to export-controlled areas and information. Candidates must be "U.S. persons" as that term is defined in 8 USC §1324b(a)(3). The term "U.S. persons" includes resident aliens ("green-card" holders) as well as certain refugees, asylum-holders and residents qualifying for temporary residence under the terms of 8 USC §1255a.
