Required Qualifications:
- B. S. degree in science/engineering (mechanical engineer preferred) and a minimum 5 years in plant operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical field support
- Experience working with plant personnel (i.e. maintenance, production, procurement, and plant manager)
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, identify and address root cause of technical issues, while recognizing when application requirements may not be met by existing products
- Ability to extract application requirements and translate into product specifications
- Strong interpersonal skills including effective communication with customers, leading the discussion at times and communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience
- Proficient planning, organizing and prioritization skills to manage urgent customer needs and longer-term projects
- Must participate in annual hearing, heavy metals, and respirator fit testing
- Ability to travel 50% in the Americas and Canada
- Ability to work nights/weekends as needed to support customer needs
